Marmum Turkish Eggs

INGREDIENTS

For the yoghurt:

  • 1 cup Marmum Greek Style Yogurt Plain
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 2 ½ tablespoons finely chopped fresh dill, or to taste

For the butter:

  • ½ stick unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chilli flakes

 

To serve:

  • 2 large eggs
  • Bread

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine Marmum Greek Yogurt with grated garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and dill.
  2. Melt the butter and add cumin, paprika, and chilli flakes.
  3. Poach or fry the eggs and spoon them over the Yogurt mixture. Top with Chili Butter and serve with bread!
